Our Story...
Scalzo Hospitality began with Carmen Scalzo, a first-generation Italian American with a dream—and the determination to make it real. In the 1950s, he built three hotels in Sacramento, then followed his instincts to Anaheim, just after Walt Disney opened the gates to Disneyland. Carmen built the Park Vue Inn by hand and greeted guests with a handshake.
Three generations later, Carmen’s legacy lives on—and it’s the foundation for the Remarkable Hospitality we strive for every day. The same hotel still stands across from The Happiest Place on Earth. The same hands-on approach still shapes how we operate. And the same pride carries us forward as stewards of a story that began seventy years ago and is far from finished.
